About this Role.

Assistantly is a leader in recruiting and embedding high-performing remote professionals (“Unicorns”) into client teams, offering ongoing coaching, clear standards, and long-term support. As a Yardi Database Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting growth-stage businesses and leadership teams by delivering actionable insights and robust reporting solutions. You will work closely with a Database Administrator and be embedded within operational and leadership teams to drive data integrity and reporting excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries and stored procedures against the Yardi database for reporting, data validation, and ad-hoc analysis

  • Designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports for operational, leasing, and financial KPIs

  • Developing advanced Excel models, pivot tables, and reconciliations to support month-end close, audits, and recurring reporting

  • Partnering with the Database Administrator on data integrity checks, performance tuning, and routine database maintenance

  • Translating accounting, operations, and leadership requirements into technical specifications and deliverables

  • Investigating and documenting data discrepancies across Yardi modules (GL, AP, AR, lease administration) and proposing corrections

  • Documenting queries, reports, data sources, and processes to ensure repeatability and auditability

  • Supporting user training and responding to internal reporting requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Yardi, SQL, BI, or reporting-focused roles

  • Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager across GL, AP, AR, and lease administration modules

  • Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, window functions, and stored procedures

  • Experience building dashboards in Power BI, including data modeling and DAX

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and Power Query

  • Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including GL structure, debits/credits, accruals, P&L, and balance sheet

  • Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken)

  • Authorized to work in the Philippines

  • Availability to work and overlap standard business hours in GMT
