About this Role.

NeoWork is seeking a creative and detail-oriented **Video Editor** to support our partner on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be a key player in the content production pipeline, transforming raw footage into high-energy, brand-aligned videos that resonate with the partner's audience. This is a **Colombia-based role** designed for a professional who excels in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment. You will be responsible for executing high-quality edits, managing client revisions with rapid turnaround times, and ensuring every piece of content meets strict brand standards. We are looking for a storyteller who understands pacing, humor, and visual identity, and who can work independently while staying tightly synced with a remote team. ### Responsibilities * **Video Editing:** Execute end-to-end video editing for various platforms, ensuring all content aligns with Dude Products’ brand voice and aesthetic. * **Revision Management:** Process and execute client feedback and revisions with speed and precision to meet tight deadlines. * **Storytelling & Pacing:** Apply a strong sense of narrative flow and comedic timing to create engaging content that captures viewer attention. * **Post-Production:** Handle color correction, basic sound design, and motion graphics as needed to polish final deliverables. * **Async Collaboration:** Maintain proactive and clear communication with the Dude Products team via project management tools and messaging platforms. * **File Management:** Organize and manage raw assets and project files within a structured pipeline to ensure seamless handoffs and archiving. * **Quality Control:** Review final exports to ensure they meet technical specifications for various social media and marketing channels. **Requirements** * **Location:** Must be based in **Colombia**. * **Technical Proficiency:** Expert-level skills in **Adobe Premiere Pro** or **Final Cut Pro**. * **Editing Portfolio:** A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating brand-aligned storytelling, sharp pacing, and high production value. * **Communication:** Excellent written and verbal English skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a **100% asynchronous** work environment. * **Efficiency:** Ability to work on a part-time schedule while maintaining fast turnaround times on edits and revisions. * **Attention to Detail:** A "sharp eye" for visual consistency and a "sharp ear" for audio quality. * **Self-Management:** Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks independently without constant supervision. ### Preferred Tools * **Adobe Creative Suite:** After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder. * **Project Management:** Experience with tools like Slack, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp. * **Frame.io:** Or similar video review and collaboration platforms. * **Cloud Storage:** Proficiency in managing assets via Google Drive or Dropbox. **Benefits** * This is a 100% home-based position. * We offer health insurance for contractors. * Holiday Extra Pay. * The work hours generally align with standard business hours in the US, with some potential flexibility depending on the client's needs. * We prioritize the mental health of our team members and offer mental health days to support their well-being. * In addition to the base salary, performance-based incentives are provided. * There is an annual review and appraisal process in place. * There are ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.
