See something that should exist? Build it. See a better way? Do it.
At Terrific, every role directly impacts how we grow from product to revenue to customer experience. We’re building the next generation of social commerce through live shopping powered by real-time data and AI.
And we believe customer data should belong to the brands who earn it — not third-party platforms.
Location: Remote (LatAm)
Terrific is not building another SaaS dashboard. We are building the infrastructure that lets brands and media companies create social commerce experiences on properties they own: live shopping, shoppable video, and interactive formats that increase conversion, capture first-party data, and create monetizable audience engagement.
We need a UX/UI designer who deeply understands how people discover, engage, watch, click, trust, and buy inside social and commerce environments. You should know what makes social content feel native, what makes commerce interfaces convert, and how audience behavior is changing across owned and rented channels.
This role is for someone who understands that great design is not decoration. It is a conversion system.
Design best-in-class social commerce experiences across web, mobile, live shopping, shoppable video, and interactive content surfaces
Create UX and UI patterns that help Terrific clients convert more owned traffic into revenue
Bring social-native interaction thinking into owned-property experiences without making them feel gimmicky
Work with product, revenue, and client teams to understand where users drop, hesitate, engage, and buy
Translate commerce, marketing, and media use cases into elegant product experiences
Use research, trend awareness, and performance data to improve flows, content modules, creator interactions, and conversion surfaces
Design for both sides of Terrific’s network: commerce clients and media clients
Help shape a product language that feels modern, social, credible, and conversion-led
You understand why social experiences hold attention and why commerce experiences close intent
You know the difference between making something look current and making it perform
You can design for trust, speed, engagement, and conversion at the same time
You are fluent in mobile behaviors, creator-led content patterns, and eCommerce merchandising logic
You can defend your work in terms of business outcomes, not aesthetics alone
5+ years in product design, UX/UI, commerce experience design, or social platform-adjacent design
Strong experience in eCommerce, social commerce, creator tools, retail media, content platforms, or conversion-focused digital products
Deep understanding of current social media commerce patterns and emerging eCommerce behavior
Experience in at least one of Terrific’s pillars, ideally eCommerce or Media, with enough fluency in Marketing to design for growth and monetization
Strong portfolio showing shipped product work with clear explanation of user problem, design choice, and commercial impact
Comfortable working with product managers, engineers, founders, and commercial teams
Strong systems thinking, not just screen craft
You must understand conversion, not just interface polish
You must understand social behavior, not just design trends
You must be able to connect UX decisions to client value creation
You must be able to contribute immediately in a category that sits at the intersection of content, commerce, and audience monetization
A pure brand designer with no product or conversion depth
Has strong marketplace visuals, weak commerce understanding
Talks only about usability, never about revenue impact
Has no instinct for social-native behavior
Has not worked on products where engagement and monetization both mattered
Social commerce is shifting from rented platforms to owned infrastructure. Terrific sits in that transition. If you want to design product experiences that help brands and media companies capture more value from the audience they already have, this is a real seat with real leverage.
Required: deep experience in at least one of Terrific’s three commercial pillars — eCommerce, Marketing, or Media — and enough fluency across the other two to contribute credibly from day 1. Be part of the change that’s quietly reshaping how people discover and buy online.
Passionate about social media and e-commerce? Come build what’s next at Terrific. Please note: We review every application carefully. While we may not be able to respond to everyone, we will reach out to candidates whose experience aligns with what we’re building.
