About this Role.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant II to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, contribute to the month-end close process, and help maintain accurate financial records for the U.S. corporate entity.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.

Key responsabilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP

  • Support month-end close activities, including accruals, amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications

  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variances

  • Support data gathering and analysis for tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting processes

  • Pull, organize, and retain supporting documentation for monthly close and annual audit purposes

  • Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records

  • Support process improvements and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

  • CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus

  • Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience

  • At least 2 years of experience working with U.S. GAAP standards

  • Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations

  • Experience working with accounting or ERP systems

  • Experience working with U.S.-based teams or supporting U.S. entities

  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is a plus

  • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas)

  • Languages & Communication

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders

  • Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
