We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant II to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, contribute to the month-end close process, and help maintain accurate financial records for the U.S. corporate entity.
The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Key responsabilities:
Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
Support month-end close activities, including accruals, amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variances
Support data gathering and analysis for tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting processes
Pull, organize, and retain supporting documentation for monthly close and annual audit purposes
Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records
Support process improvements and special projects as assigned
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus
Experience
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
At least 2 years of experience working with U.S. GAAP standards
Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
Experience working with U.S.-based teams or supporting U.S. entities
Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is a plus
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas)
Languages & Communication
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders
Soft Skills
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
