We are looking for a Sr Security Engineer to join our Security team and play a key role in strengthening security across our multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP). This role will be instrumental in driving security automation, improving operational excellence, and helping shift engineering culture toward security-by-design. You will work with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, and Global Security stakeholders.
🛠️ Your key responsibilities
Own and evolve parts of the cloud security landscape across AWS and GCP
Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Drive security automation across environments, reducing manual processes and operational risk
Act as a security evangelist, influencing engineers to adopt secure-by-default practices
Partner with development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve security remediation and incident management
Support incident response activities, post-incident improvements, and operational readiness
Contribute to security tooling, standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
🎯 What we expect from you
Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Security, especially AWS (GCP experience is a plus or willingness to learn)
Solid background in DevSecOps and embedding security into engineering workflows
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Proficiency working with Linux/Unix environments
Scripting experience with Go and/or Python
Comfortable working independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to think end-to-end and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
Advanced English (you will work with global stakeholders).
Availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed.

Experience with GCP security services
Previous exposure to security tooling and automation at scale
Background working in multi-cloud or complex enterprise environments
Experience interacting with audit, global security, or external security partners
Security certifications or strong security engineering foundations
