Sr Network Engineer, Routing & Switching / Meraki

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Network Engineer, Routing & Switching / Meraki based in Brazil.

This role supports network operations across larger and more complex projects in a fully remote environment.
You will contribute to the evaluation, improvement, and ongoing optimization of network processes and services.
The position combines network operations expertise with process analysis, change management, and quality improvement.
You will help design and implement structured processes that support reliable, consistent, and high-quality network services.
The role also involves developing policies, procedures, job aids, and other documentation based on business requirements.
You will work with impacted users and stakeholders to ensure changes are introduced consistently and with minimal disruption.

Accountabilities:

• Provide network operations support for larger and more complex projects.
• Diagram and evaluate existing network and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Plan, execute, and implement process improvement and change management initiatives.
• Develop and implement processes designed to establish and maintain quality standards for existing products and services.
• Develop policies, methods, and procedures that support business process changes and operational requirements.
• Coordinate change deployment to ensure updates are implemented consistently and in a timely manner.
• Work with impacted users and stakeholders to minimize disruption to ongoing work processes during changes.
• Create and maintain methods and procedures, job aids, process documentation, and other formalized materials based on business requirements.
• Measure network performance against defined process requirements and identify areas requiring improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 4--6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in network operations and support, particularly in environments involving larger or complex projects.
• Knowledge of routing and switching concepts and network operations.
• Experience analyzing and documenting operational processes.
• Familiarity with process improvement and change management initiatives.
• Ability to develop clear policies, procedures, job aids, and technical or operational documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess network performance against defined requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with users and stakeholders affected by operational changes.
• Ability to manage priorities and implement changes in a consistent and timely manner.
