Sr. DevOps

Summary

We are seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to provide platform and infrastructure leadership across two product teams. This role will design, build and operate infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for Azure services (AKS, Blob Storage, App Services), own CI/CD and mobile/web build pipelines, and enable developer self-service through templates, modules and pipeline templates.

You will work in a remote, async-first, AI-augmented workflow where clear written communication, proactive ownership, and experience integrating Microsoft Entra for SSO/External ID are essential. This is an opportunity to shape platform direction, prioritize strategic improvements, and mentor engineers on deployment and observability best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for Azure services including AKS, Blob Storage and App Services.

• Build, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines and mobile/web build pipelines.

• Operate, troubleshoot and tune Kubernetes and Docker-based workloads running on AKS.

• Implement and manage SSO and External ID flows using Microsoft Entra.

• Create reusable templates, Terraform modules and pipeline templates to enable developer self-service.

• Collaborate directly with technical leads to define platform direction and deployment patterns.

• Mentor engineers on deployment best practices, observability and platform usage.

• Own platform-level decisions and improvements, prioritizing strategic work over ticket-level execution.

• Write clear, async-friendly documentation and communicate effectively in AI-augmented workflows.

• Manage and support PostgreSQL-related deployment and operational concerns as they relate to platform infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering roles.

• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.

• Proven experience designing and operating infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including AKS, Blob Storage and App Services.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.

• Proven ownership and operation of CI/CD pipelines and build systems for web and mobile applications.

• Experience implementing SSO/External ID using Microsoft Entra.

• Experience supporting PostgreSQL deployments and operational integration with platform infrastructure.

• Excellent written communication skills suited to async-first, AI-augmented workflows.

• Track record of mentoring engineers and collaborating with architects and technical leads.

• Experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools.

• Experience with Node.js and React.
