Our client started as a small digital magazine in Australia and grew into a global education and media company for founders. Today, their content reaches over 1M entrepreneurs each month through podcasts, courses, newsletters, events, social media, and their membership platform.
Their podcast has featured some of the biggest names in business, including Mark Cuban, Tim Ferriss, Tony Robbins, Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Seth Godin, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Reid Hoffman, Simon Sinek, Alex Hormozi, Emma Grede, Neil Patel, Gary Vaynerchuk, and many more.
Now they need a sharp short form editor who can turn world-class founder interviews into clips people cannot stop watching
You start the day inside a long-form podcast episode with a founder who built something huge.
There is an hour of footage. Somewhere inside it is the moment.
A story. A lesson. A hot take. A line that makes an entrepreneur stop scrolling and think, “I needed to hear that.”
Your job is to find it.
You pull the strongest moments, shape the hook, tighten the pacing, add clean captions, build motion where needed, and turn the clip into something built for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
Later, you review what performed best. You study retention, rewatches, comments, and shares. Then you use that data to make the next batch sharper.
You end the day knowing your edits helped real entrepreneurs learn from some of the best business minds on earth.
You will turn long-form founder content into high-performing short form videos.
You will:
Find the best clips inside podcast episodes, interviews, and founder content
Edit short form videos for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and LinkedIn
Create strong hooks that grab attention fast
Add captions, pacing, cuts, zooms, sound design, and motion graphics
Turn complex business lessons into clear, watchable clips
Edit with taste, speed, and platform awareness
Help test new styles, formats, hooks, and creative angles
Review performance data and improve future edits
Work with a content team that cares deeply about craft and reach
You have strong short form editing experience
You know how to turn long-form content into viral clips
You understand pacing, hooks, retention, captions, and scroll-stopping structure
You can spot the best moment inside a long interview
You have a strong eye for clean, modern design
You use editing to tell a story, not just cut footage
You understand TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
You can work fast without making the work feel rushed
You are organized, reliable, and comfortable working remotely
You only edit basic talking-head clips
You need someone else to pick every clip for you
You do not study what performs on social
You ignore pacing, retention, and the first 3 seconds
You are not interested in founders, business, or entrepreneurship
You are slow to take feedback or test new creative ideas
Experience editing business, podcast, or founder content
Experience editing for large personal brands or media companies
Motion graphics skills
Strong audio cleanup skills
Experience editing full podcast episodes
