A day in the life:
As an SEO Associate Manager, you'll own day-to-day strategy and execution for a small book of healthcare clients while supporting your Manager on larger, more complex accounts. You'll lead audits, build roadmaps, run keyword and content strategy, and partner with Account Managers to turn SEO and AIO plans into real performance. Your day will include client-facing strategy conversations, hands-on optimization in WordPress, monthly reporting, and acting as the SEO subject-matter expert across your pod. Self-directed and growth-oriented, you'll continuously look for ways to improve both client results and team workflows. This is a role for someone who's ready to step into ownership: you've executed the work as a Senior Specialist, and now you're ready to be the one calling the shots on a defined set of accounts while still learning from a SEO Manager.
Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end SEO and AIO strategy for a defined subset of healthcare clients, from onboarding through ongoing execution.
Build and present strategic client roadmaps that align SEO best practices with client business goals.
Lead keyword research, mapping, and content strategy to identify topics that drive both traditional and AI search visibility.
Execute and oversee on-page, technical, and content SEO optimizations on client WordPress sites.
Jointly present monthly performance reports to Account Managers and client points of contact.
Serve as a subject-matter expert for clients and Account Managers on content and technical SEO.
Support the SEO Manager on larger accounts, contributing to strategy, deliverables, and pod operations.
Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize SEO workflows and client outcomes.
Utilize and leverage Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department.
Role Requirements:
3–5 years of experience delivering digital marketing campaigns with measurable results.
Proven track record of SEO wins, with experience owning or co-owning client strategy.
Strong technical SEO fundamentals, local listings management, link building, and content strategy experience.
Comfortable in WordPress for on-page optimizations, SEO updates, and basic troubleshooting.
Confident presenting strategy and performance directly to clients.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
Highly organized and able to switch between multiple client projects quickly.
Collaborative team player who works well with SEO, content, and account management partners.
Operates with a strong sense of urgency and adapts quickly when client needs change.
