We are seeking a talented Senior UI Engineer with deep expertise in React and modern frontend development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable, production-ready web applications and delivering exceptional user experiences through robust UI architecture and reusable component systems.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact digital products for a Fortune 500 client, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that combine performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will be joining a team of skilled professionals focused on delivering best-in-class frontend experiences powered by modern technologies and content-driven architectures.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
Build reusable, maintainable, and performant UI components aligned with established design systems and frontend architecture standards.
Develop and integrate CMS-driven experiences using Headless CMS platforms and structured content models.
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality user experiences.
Implement and maintain dynamic content-driven components that support personalization and content flexibility.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
Develop and support eCommerce experiences, including product data integrations, add-to-cart functionality, subscription workflows, and cross-sell features.
Design and implement complex state management solutions, authentication flows, session handling, and multi-state user interfaces.
Contribute to shared frontend libraries and work effectively within monorepo environments.
Ensure applications meet performance, accessibility, scalability, and responsiveness standards across devices and browsers.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues while maintaining a high standard of code quality.
Participate in code reviews, contribute to coding standards, and promote engineering best practices across projects.
Optimize application performance through profiling, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work within Agile/Scrum teams, proactively communicating progress, blockers, and technical recommendations.
Leverage modern development tools and AI-powered coding assistants to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
6+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, UI Engineer, or similar role.
Strong senior-level expertise in React and modern frontend development practices.
Advanced proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Proven experience building and maintaining production-ready, scalable frontend applications.
Strong experience working within monorepo environments and contributing to shared frontend libraries.
Expertise in developing reusable React components and scalable UI architectures.
Proven experience working with Headless CMS platforms and structured content models.
Experience integrating CMS-driven components with dynamic content and content management workflows.
Strong understanding of frontend application architecture, component composition, and design patterns.
Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
Experience supporting eCommerce functionalities, including product catalog integrations, cart experiences, subscriptions, and cross-sell features.
Strong knowledge of state management, authentication workflows, session management, and complex UI interactions.
Experience working with design systems, design tokens, and component-driven development.
Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems, and Agile methodologies.
Comfortable participating in technical discussions, architecture reviews, live coding sessions, and technical interviews.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Passion for building intuitive, accessible, and high-quality user experiences.
