About the Role We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help scale a mission-critical platform used by organizations across multiple sectors, including nonprofits, government, and regulated environments. This is a foundational role where you will take ownership across the full stack — from mobile to backend systems — and contribute directly to architecture, performance, and product evolution. You won’t just execute tickets; you will help shape how the platform grows and scales in production. You will work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment alongside product and engineering leadership, building real features used by real users. This role requires strong technical ownership, clear communication, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations. We are looking for engineers who move fast, think critically, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Design and build full-stack applications using **Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks** * Develop and maintain APIs, authentication flows, and backend services * Work with **PostgreSQL, Supabase, and Redis** to build scalable data systems * Deploy and manage applications on **Vercel**, including environments and workflows * Integrate **AI/LLM capabilities (OpenAI, Anthropic)** into product features * Optimize performance, reliability, and user experience across the stack * Implement monitoring, logging, and error tracking (e.g., Sentry) * Collaborate on product decisions and translate ideas into working systems * Take ownership of technical decisions and drive projects from concept to production Must have: * 5+ years of experience in **full-stack software engineering** * Strong expertise with **Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions)** * Advanced proficiency in **TypeScript with end-to-end type safety** * Experience building **production-ready APIs (auth, validation, error handling, rate limiting)** * Strong experience with **PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, optimization)** * Hands-on experience with **Supabase (Auth, Realtime, Storage, etc.)** * Experience with **Drizzle ORM** or similar tools for schema and migrations * Experience with **Redis (Upstash or similar)** for caching and performance * Strong experience deploying and managing apps on **Vercel** * Experience integrating **AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)** * Understanding of prompt engineering, streaming, structured outputs, and cost optimization * Experience using **AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, or similar) in daily workflows** Nice to Have: * Experience with **Google Maps APIs (Places, Geocoding, Maps JS)** * Experience building **multi-tenant SaaS platforms** * Familiarity with **agentic workflows, MCPs, or AI-driven automation systems** * Strong design/UX sensibility
