Senior Full-Stack Software Developer - AI Voice and Communications Platform

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer - AI Voice and Communications Platform based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity to build a new AI-powered voice and communications management platform from the ground up.
You will take meaningful ownership across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and long-term technical direction.
The platform will enable operators to configure, test, monitor, and evaluate AI voice agents and their performance.
You will design a provider-neutral architecture, starting with ElevenLabs while enabling future conversational AI integrations.
The role also involves deep integration with communications infrastructure to support call handling, routing, and platform events.
You will build reliable operator tools and workflows that connect AI agents with business systems and human escalation paths.
This is a hands-on environment suited to a senior engineer who enjoys greenfield development, autonomy, and solving complex technical problems.

Accountabilities

• Architect and build the platform from its initial foundation through production, establishing scalable and maintainable technical foundations.
• Develop a management console for configuring, testing, monitoring, and evaluating AI-powered voice agents.
• Design a provider-neutral integration architecture, beginning with ElevenLabs and allowing additional conversational AI providers to be introduced through connectors.
• Integrate deeply with Netsapiens to support communications workflows, call handling, routing, and platform events.
• Build operator-facing tools for reviewing calls, transcripts, agent activity, performance, and quality results.
• Integrate AI agents with customer management, billing, ticketing, network monitoring, and knowledge systems.
• Design safe escalation and transfer workflows for situations requiring human intervention.
• Establish strong practices for application security, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, observability, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to translate evolving requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Take ownership of project sprints and deliver production-quality features with minimal day-to-day oversight.
• Requirements:
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong full-stack development expertise.
  • Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and backend API development.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering new production applications from the ground up.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to build and ship production-quality software.
  • Strong experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting third-party APIs and distributed services.
  • Solid knowledge of databases, automated testing, secure software development, and containerized deployments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and manage priorities independently.
  • Strong product mindset with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and user impact.
  • Experience with conversational AI, voice automation, or contact-center software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ElevenLabs Agents or other programmable voice AI platforms is a plus.
  • Experience designing connector, adapter, plugin, or provider-abstraction architectures is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or tool-enabled AI agents is a plus.
  • Experience with Python or GraphQL is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, UCaaS, call routing, or telecommunications provisioning is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Netsapiens and experience integrating with its APIs or communications services is a plus.
