Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Analyst to bring financial clarity, operational structure, and scalable reporting across multiple business entities. This role focuses on conducting comprehensive financial audits, improving financial systems, optimizing accounting workflows, and providing strategic financial insights that support executive decision-making. They are looking for a finance professional who can identify inefficiencies, implement best practices, and build strong financial processes while overseeing bookkeeping operations.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial audits, analyzing financial performance, improving reporting systems, and optimizing accounting processes across multiple companies. The Senior Financial Analyst will oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, manage bookkeeping operations, develop standardized financial reporting, and partner with leadership to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for an experienced financial professional with strong analytical skills, extensive accounting knowledge, and a passion for building scalable financial systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL AUDITS & ANALYSIS
Conduct comprehensive financial audits across multiple business entities.
Review financial statements, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.
Identify financial discrepancies, inefficiencies, and reporting inconsistencies.
Determine root causes of financial issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure financial reporting complies with internal standards and accounting best practices.
FINANCIAL PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
Evaluate and optimize financial workflows across multiple companies.
Develop standardized financial reporting processes and internal controls.
Improve month-end and year-end close procedures.
Recommend scalable improvements for financial systems and reporting.
FINANCIAL SYSTEMS & ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS
Utilize QuickBooks for accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Develop financial models and reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
Ensure accurate reconciliation and financial record management.
BOOKKEEPING LEADERSHIP
Hire, train, and manage bookkeeping personnel.
Review bookkeeping accuracy and account reconciliations.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bookkeeping processes.
Maintain quality control over financial data entry and reporting.
FINANCIAL REPORTING & STRATEGIC ANALYSIS
Prepare financial reports for executive leadership.
Analyze financial performance across multiple entities.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning.
Identify financial risks, opportunities, and operational improvements.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
Partner with executive leadership to support business objectives.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals.
Maintain financial data integrity across departments and business systems.
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or corporate finance.
Experience conducting financial audits and reconciling complex financial data.
Experience overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Experience managing bookkeeping operations.
Experience developing financial reports and strategic financial analysis.
Experience improving financial processes and internal controls.
Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets.
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP).
Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR).
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Strong financial reconciliation skills.
Strong financial reporting and financial modeling abilities.
