About Paired

Paired serves as your bridge to global career possibilities. We're dedicated to connecting you with esteemed US companies and offering remote work options. Your journey to a thriving international career starts here.

About this Role.

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that connects talented professionals with high-growth companies around the world.

For this opportunity, we are partnering with an established e-commerce brand seeking a Senior E-commerce Marketing Manager to oversee multiple marketing channels, manage agency relationships, and help drive performance across paid media, creative production, email marketing, CRO, and organic social.

This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who understands performance marketing, knows how to evaluate high-quality creative and email campaigns, and can keep several external agencies accountable.

You will work directly under the Marketing Director, taking ownership of day-to-day marketing operations and freeing the director to focus on higher-level strategy. The role offers a clear growth path toward becoming Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy and Quality Control

  • Review and provide strategic feedback on performance creatives produced by four external UGC and YouTube advertising agencies.

  • Evaluate creative concepts, hooks, scripts, offers, messaging, and overall execution before campaigns go live.

  • Ensure creative output aligns with the brand’s positioning, customer insights, and performance goals.

  • Identify creative patterns, winning angles, and opportunities for iteration based on advertising results.

  • Maintain a consistently high standard across all paid media assets.

Email Marketing

  • Review and quality-control email campaigns produced by the external email marketing agency.

  • Assess campaign strategy, copy, design, offers, segmentation, flows, and overall customer journey.

  • Ensure email output is aligned with the brand’s voice and commercial objectives.

  • Monitor performance and recommend improvements based on engagement, conversion, and revenue data.

  • Oversee Meta advertising performance in collaboration with the in-house Meta Ads Specialist.

  • Review campaign results, identify performance trends, and help guide testing priorities.

  • Gradually develop toward more hands-on campaign management and execution.

  • Monitor performance through Triple Whale and other analytics platforms.

  • Translate data into clear insights, priorities, and actionable recommendations.

  • Connect creative, email, website, and paid media performance to identify growth opportunities.

Agency and Project Management

  • Manage communication, meetings, deliverables, deadlines, and accountability across multiple external agencies.

  • Project manage the CRO agency and ensure testing roadmaps and deliverables stay on track.

  • Coordinate with Google Ads, SEO, affiliate marketing, and graphic design partners.

  • Provide clear briefs, feedback, priorities, and follow-up actions.

  • Ensure agencies collaborate effectively and remain aligned with the broader marketing strategy.

  • Escalate performance issues and recommend changes when agency output does not meet expectations.

Organic Social Oversight

  • Project manage an organic social media team of three.

  • Track assignments, deadlines, and content delivery.

  • Ensure consistent execution without needing to personally lead organic social strategy.

Marketing Operations

  • Take ownership of the daily coordination and execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Create clear systems for tracking priorities, deliverables, performance, and accountability.

  • Run efficient meetings and maintain strong asynchronous communication.

  • Reduce the Marketing Director’s operational workload by approximately four to five hours per day.

  • Grow into broader strategic ownership as the business scales.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing marketing for established e-commerce brands or e-commerce agencies.

  • Experience with legitimate product-based e-commerce businesses; dropshipping-only backgrounds will not be considered.

  • Advanced understanding of performance creative strategy, especially for Meta, UGC, and YouTube advertising.

  • Advanced experience reviewing or managing email marketing campaigns and automated flows.

  • Strong understanding of Meta Ads strategy, campaign performance, and creative testing.

  • Experience managing multiple external agencies or specialized marketing partners simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert performance data into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent project management, organization, and follow-through.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to confidently challenge weak work, provide useful feedback, and hold partners accountable.

  • Availability to maintain meaningful overlap with Eastern Time working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with e-commerce brands spending more than $100,000 per month on advertising.

  • Experience using Triple Whale or similar e-commerce attribution and analytics platforms.

  • Familiarity with CRO testing and conversion optimization processes.

  • Working knowledge of Google Ads, SEO, affiliate marketing, and organic social media.
