We are currently seeking an experienced **Senior Accountant** to join one of our U.S. clients. This role will be responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of the organization by overseeing key accounting processes, preparing reliable financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. This role serves as a technical expert within the team and collaborates closely with Finance, Audit, and Management.
### **Responsabilities**
· **Prepare and review financial statements** (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
· **Oversee the full accounting cycle**, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
· **Perform variance analysis** and financial performance reporting to support decision-making.
· **Manage month-end and year-end closing processes**, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· **Coordinate internal and external audits**, providing required documentation and explanations.
· **Improve and streamline accounting processes**, identifying opportunities for implementing best practices, automation and efficiency where possible.
· **Ensure tax compliance**, including filings, payments, and monitoring of regulatory obligations.
· **Provide technical guidance** to the accounting team and act as an escalation point.
* **Work closely** with the Finance Team members to ensure alignment and accuracy in reportings.
· **Participate in financial projects**, such as ERP implementations, internal control reviews, or new entity integrations.
**Requirements**
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience in general accounting or audit.
· Proven experience in financial reporting and closing processes.
· Experience in multinational environments or fast‑growing companies is a plus.
Preferred experience with: ASC 606 revenue recognition
**Technical Skills**
· Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and compliance requirements.
· Proficiency with accounting systems and ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.).
· Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
