Role Intro
The mission of this role is to build a stable operational foundation for scaling Uproot Clean’s wholesale business.
You will coordinate retailer launches, operational execution, inventory flow, retailer support, reporting, and cross-functional projects across our wholesale organization. This role exists to improve execution reliability, increase operational visibility, reduce dropped balls, and help transition the wholesale business from reactive operations to scalable operational excellence.
The right person naturally creates structure, follows through relentlessly, solves problems proactively, and keeps important projects moving forward without requiring constant oversight.
What You'll Own
Retail Launch & Account Operations
Coordinate launches across Walmart, Target, Petco, distributors, and other retail accounts
Manage retailer item setup, retailer onboarding, and operational workflows across accounts
Support purchase order management, replenishment coordination, inventory flow, fulfillment tracking, and retailer operational requests
Monitor retailer portals and dashboards including SupplierOne, DSCO, Partners Online, and related retailer systems
Ensure retailer requirements, timelines, and operational deliverables are executed accurately and on time
Support deduction management, chargebacks, vendor compliance issues, and operational troubleshooting
Operational Infrastructure & Organization
Build and maintain operational trackers, dashboards, workflows, reporting systems, and documentation
Improve visibility across retailer launches, inventory flow, operational risks, retailer requests, and project timelines
Create scalable operational systems that reduce chaos and improve execution consistency
Improve cross-functional communication and coordination across wholesale operations
Help establish stronger operational structure, accountability, and process discipline across the retail business
Problem Solving & Execution
Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and retailer issues proactively before they escalate
Drive operational problem solving across launches, fulfillment, inventory, retailer support, and retailer communication
Coordinate cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, operations, customer support, and leadership teams
Maintain high responsiveness and reliability in fast-moving operational environments
Push projects forward consistently and ensure critical work does not fall through the cracks
AI & Operational Leverage
Use AI tools daily to improve operational speed, organization, reporting, communication, and execution quality
Build lightweight workflows, automations, reporting processes, and AI-assisted systems that improve operational efficiency
Continuously improve operational output through better systems, organization, and process optimization
What Success Looks Like
Retail launches move quickly, smoothly, and with significantly fewer operational issues.
Retailer communication becomes highly responsive, organized, and reliable. Internal teams gain significantly better visibility into timelines, operational risks, inventory flow, retailer requests, and project status.
Operational problems are identified early and solved proactively instead of reactively. Important projects consistently move forward without requiring excessive oversight or escalation.
The wholesale organization becomes more scalable, operationally mature, and capable of supporting increasing retailer complexity without operational chaos increasing alongside it.
Requirements
Must Have
2+ years of experience supporting wholesale, retail operations, account operations, supply chain coordination, or related operational functions inside a CPG, ecommerce, retail, or consumer products company
Experience supporting retailer launches, retailer operations, or vendor management processes
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational workstreams simultaneously
Strong communication skills across cross-functional teams and external retail partners
Strong ownership mentality and consistent follow-through
Ability to operate effectively inside fast-moving environments with shifting priorities
Experience building or improving operational trackers, workflows, systems, dashboards, or reporting processes
Comfort navigating retailer systems, portals, operational workflows, and retailer communication processes
Daily use of AI tools to improve operational speed, organization, communication, reporting, or execution quality
High attention to detail without losing sight of operational priorities
Nice to Have
Experience supporting Walmart, Target, Petco, grocery, pet specialty, or distributor accounts
Experience with SupplierOne, DSCO, Partners Online, Retail Link, or related retailer systems
Experience managing deductions, chargebacks, replenishment coordination, or vendor compliance issues
Experience inside high-growth ecommerce or consumer products environments
Experience building operational automations or AI-assisted workflows
Strong familiarity with wholesale operations, inventory coordination, and retailer support processes

Work Requirements
