Summary
We are seeking a senior QA Mobile Automation Engineer B. to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile applications on iOS and Android. This role combines hands-on manual testing with automation efforts to deliver robust, user-friendly mobile experiences.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to design and execute test strategies, uncover complex defects, and help drive continuous improvement in quality practices. The role offers the opportunity to influence test approach and balance manual and automated testing across the mobile stack.
Responsibilities
* Design and execute manual test plans and test cases for mobile features and releases.
* Develop, maintain, and run mobile functional automation tests for iOS or Android.
* Investigate, reproduce, and document defects; work with engineering to prioritize fixes.
* Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure release readiness.
* Create clear, actionable test reports and status updates for stakeholders.
* Review and improve test processes, tooling, and coverage to increase efficiency.
* Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to Agile planning and estimations.
* Mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices for mobile testing and debugging.
Requirements
* 4+ years of experience in mobile functional automation testing.
* Proven experience testing iOS and Android applications.
* Hands-on experience with Espresso, JetPack Compose, and/or XCUITest for automation.
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
* Practical experience with Manual Testing and Automation Testing, with an expected split of ~50-60% manual and ~40% automation work.
* Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
* Comfortable working in Agile Methodologies and participating in team ceremonies.
* Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
* Collaborative team player who can work across product and engineering teams.
