Hi there!
We are seeking for our US fintech client a QA Analyst (Automation) to join the QA team. This role is focused on ensuring product quality and reliability through the development and execution of automated test frameworks, while also supporting manual testing where needed.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to validate functionality, improve automation coverage, and maintain high-quality releases across our platform.
Requirements
Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
Develop and execute automated test scripts across web, desktop, and API layers
Convert manual test cases into efficient, maintainable automated tests
Perform regression and smoke testing to ensure product stability
Debug and enhance existing automation code and frameworks
Support CI/CD integration for automation pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, TestNG)
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or JMeter
Partner with engineering and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects
Ensure reliability and accuracy of automation test runs, including overnight executions
Core Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium or similar)
Strong understanding of programming and scripting concepts
Experience building and maintaining test scripts for web and desktop applications
Experience with API testing and related tools
Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automation infrastructure
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong written communication skills, particularly in documenting test cases and defects
Experience leading or contributing to automation efforts for complex features or module
