About this Role.

About the Role

This is a freelance engagement supporting the personal brand of Zainab Mounabbah, cofounder and Chief Marketing Officer of Hyprwork, a fast-growing operator of direct-to-consumer health and wellness brands, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe honoree. Zainab is launching a new interview-style podcast and is looking for a skilled video editor to turn raw recording footage into polished, YouTube-ready episodes, along with short-form clips for social. The series features founders, creators, and operators in conversation, and the editing needs to feel modern, premium, and consistent from the very first episode.

The Role

As the podcast's video editor, you will own post-production for a brand-new interview series. You will receive raw multi-camera and audio recordings and transform them into finished episodes ready for YouTube, cutting for pace and story, cleaning audio, correcting color, and adding the graphics and polish that give the channel a cohesive identity. Beyond the long-form episodes, you will repurpose each recording into short-form vertical clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok, designed to hook viewers in the first seconds and grow the audience. Because this is a new series, you will help establish the look and feel from episode one, not simply match an existing template. This is a hands-on, portfolio-led role for someone who loves conversation-driven content and takes pride in a clean, professional finish.

What You Will Own

Editing full-length podcast episodes from raw footage into polished, YouTube-ready videos, including multi-camera syncing, cutting for pace and clarity, and removing dead air, filler, and mistakes. Cleaning and balancing audio across speakers, reducing noise, and ensuring broadcast-quality sound. Color correcting and grading footage for a consistent, premium look across the series. Adding intros and outros, lower thirds, guest name graphics, titles, chapter markers, captions and subtitles, B-roll, and light motion graphics that reinforce the brand. Producing short-form vertical clips from each episode for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok, reframed and captioned for social. Exporting and delivering files to the correct specifications for each platform. Organizing footage and project files, managing versions, and incorporating revision rounds efficiently. Maintaining a consistent visual identity and raising the production quality of the channel over time.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience editing podcasts or long-form interview content, with a portfolio or reel of published episodes you can share. Fluent English, spoken and written, so you can follow conversational content, write and clean up captions, and communicate directly with the host. Expert command of a professional editing suite such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, with After Effects or equivalent motion-graphics skills a strong plus. Confidence with multi-camera editing, audio cleanup, and color grading. Experience cutting short-form vertical clips for social from long-form footage. Comfort with captioning and subtitling. A strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and a modern, premium aesthetic. Reliability, clear communication, and the ability to hit deadlines while working remotely and async, incorporating feedback across revision cycles. Ability to overlap with a UAE and Europe-friendly window for occasional live communication with the host.

A portfolio is required. Please include links to published podcast or long-form work, and for each piece note your specific role and who it was for.

Nice to Have

YouTube packaging and thumbnail design. Brand-kit or motion-graphics creation from scratch. Experience editing for founder, business, or personal-brand channels, or for health and wellness content. Familiarity with YouTube retention editing, hooks, and chaptering best practices. Access to licensed music and sound-effect libraries.

Benefits

A flexible, fully remote freelance engagement, paid hourly. Direct collaboration with a Forbes 30 Under 30 founder building a new podcast from the ground up. A defined initial project across a series of episodes, with strong potential for ongoing work if it is a great fit. Real creative ownership over the look and feel of a growing channel. Fast, founder-direct decisions with minimal bureaucracy. Payment in USD via Wise, or the USD account or virtual wallet you prefer, including Payoneer, PayPal, or a USD bank account.
