This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Flutter - Sênior based in Brazil.

This is a senior-level opportunity for a Mobile Developer to build and evolve a Flutter application used daily by thousands of users.
You will contribute directly to mobile architecture, scalability, modularization, performance, and the delivery of impactful product features.
The role combines hands-on Flutter development with API integrations, automated testing, production monitoring, and continuous delivery.
You will work with technologies across the broader ecosystem, including Dart, TypeScript, and Ruby, gaining a comprehensive view of the product.
Quality is considered part of the developer's ownership, with engineers responsible for building, testing, monitoring, and sustaining what they deliver.
You will collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, connecting technical decisions with user needs and business impact.
The role is fully remote and initially structured as a two-month temporary engagement, with the possibility of continuing the relationship based on project needs and performance.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and continuously evolve a mobile application using Flutter and Dart, delivering reliable experiences to a large and active user base.
• Contribute actively to the application architecture, ensuring scalability, modularization, maintainability, and strong performance as the product evolves.
• Design and implement critical mobile features, including geolocation and maps, user check-in flows, and integrations with payment providers.
• Integrate the mobile application with REST APIs while developing an understanding of backend flows and the broader system architecture.
• Take ownership of delivery quality by implementing and executing behavioral and black-box tests, as well as supporting automated testing practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical decisions, architectural discussions, and product conversations, contributing ideas and helping establish effective engineering practices.
• Monitor application health in production, investigating crashes, performance issues, stability concerns, and other indicators that may affect the user experience.
• Contribute to deployment and application publishing processes for both Android and iOS, including CI/CD workflows and release activities.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, ensuring technical decisions are aligned with product objectives, user needs, and measurable business impact.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience as a Flutter Developer, with strong hands-on experience building and evolving mobile applications in production environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Dart and strong understanding of mobile development best practices, architecture, maintainability, and performance.
• Consistent experience with state management solutions such as BLoC or comparable approaches for building scalable and maintainable applications.
• Strong experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and understanding how frontend, backend, and integration layers interact.
• Experience implementing automated tests in mobile development environments and a strong commitment to software quality.
• Practical experience with Git and modern code versioning practices.
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications through both Google Play and the App Store.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong ownership of code, quality, delivery, and production outcomes, combined with a product-engineering mindset rather than a task-execution approach.
• Curiosity and willingness to understand other technology stacks and the broader system, including technologies such as TypeScript and Ruby.
• Proactive and analytical approach to identifying problems, proposing solutions, and seeking opportunities to create meaningful product and business impact.
• Experience with Flutter Channels and native development using Kotlin or Swift is a valuable advantage.
• Experience with maps and geolocation services, CI/CD pipelines, or working across mobile, backend, and integration layers is considered a plus.
• Genuine interest in application architecture and the evolution of complex systems is highly valued.
