This exciting opportunity is a remote Contract/Consultant role, with working hours from 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Step into the role of People Department Team Lead and take charge of inspiring and guiding the team. Your mission? To attract, recruit, and retain the very best talent who will drive our organization forward. You'll be at the heart of crafting and executing innovative recruitment strategies, ensuring every candidate enjoys a positive and engaging experience, and partnering closely with hiring managers to fulfill our staffing goals with excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the People Department, including both Talent Acquisition and HR functions, ensuring smooth, high-performing operations fully aligned with business objectives.
Manage, coach, and inspire the team, setting clear direction, priorities, and performance standards
Design and drive forward-looking recruitment strategies to attract and secure top-tier talent across the organization
Partner closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to anticipate workforce needs and translate them into effective hiring plans
Own the end-to-end recruitment function at a strategic level, ensuring consistency, speed, and an exceptional candidate experience
Oversee People Department (HR) operations and ensure smooth execution across the employee lifecycle
Champion People Department (HR) best practices and ensure policies and processes are effectively implemented and followed
Lead onboarding strategy to ensure new hires are engaged and set up for success from day one
Monitor key HR and recruitment metrics, delivering clear insights and recommendations to leadership
Continuously identify opportunities to improve and scale HR and Talent Acquisition processes
Take ownership of additional strategic HR and recruitment initiatives as the business evolves
Requirements
Full fluency in English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Proven combined experience as a Recruiter and Human Resources Manager
Hands-on experience with multiple ATS platforms
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Teams experience preferred
Experience with Zoom
Positive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow
Proactive mindset with excellent work ethic and ownership
Highly organized with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Must have your own laptop/computer (equipment is not provided)
