We are seeking an experienced project manager professional to support our expansion initiatives across Latin America. This role will be critical in coordinating cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong stakeholder communication across our regional operations.
Please note this is a 6 month contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage multiple projects across the LATAM region, ensuring alignment with business objectives
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
* Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive resolution of blockers
* Facilitate communication between regional teams, stakeholders, and global headquarters
* Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
* Support resource planning and capacity management across projects
* Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies
* Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners as needed
Required Qualifications:
* Fluent in English & Spanish (written and spoken)
* 1+ years of project management or PMO experience
* Payment, Banking, or Fintech industry background required
* Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
* Experience working in or with Latin American markets
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
* Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar)
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
* Comfortable working across different time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
* Portuguese language skills (advantageous for Brazil operations)
* PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications
* Experience with card issuance, payment processing, or digital banking products
* Previous experience in contract or consulting roles
