Our client is seeking a Paid Search Specialist to manage and optimize paid search campaigns that drive measurable business growth. The organization leverages data-driven advertising strategies to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS), increase conversions, and improve campaign efficiency through Google Ads and Google Performance Max (PMax). As the company continues to grow its digital marketing efforts, they are looking for an analytical, execution-focused professional who can own campaign performance from launch through ongoing optimization.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Paid Search Specialist will be responsible for planning, launching, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Google Performance Max (PMax). The Paid Search Specialist will oversee keyword research, campaign structuring, bidding strategies, A/B testing, reporting, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize conversions and return on investment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys performance marketing, continuous optimization, and using data to improve campaign results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CAMPAIGN STRATEGY & EXECUTION
Develop, launch, and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Google Performance Max (PMax), and other search platforms.
Structure campaigns and ad groups using intent-driven keyword research.
Set campaign budgets, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and performance objectives.
Monitor campaign performance and optimize for conversions, ROAS, and ROI.
Continuously improve campaign efficiency through data-driven decision making.
KEYWORD RESEARCH & OPTIMIZATION
Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing search opportunities.
Optimize ad copy, targeting, and landing page alignment based on search intent.
Refine campaign structure and keyword groupings to improve performance.
Identify opportunities to improve Quality Score and campaign efficiency.
TESTING & PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
Plan and execute A/B tests for ad copy, creative variations, and landing pages.
Monitor campaign performance using Google Ads, GA4, and reporting tools.
Analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities.
Prepare reports and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
Collaborate with content, SEO, design, analytics, and marketing teams.
Ensure landing pages, messaging, and creative assets align with campaign objectives.
Support tracking, attribution, and reporting improvements.
Recommend strategies to improve conversion rates and campaign performance.
AUTOMATION & CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
Utilize automation tools and scripts to improve campaign management and reporting.
Stay current on Google Ads updates, Performance Max enhancements, AI-driven automation, and industry best practices.
Continuously improve campaign workflows and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
2+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including Performance Max (PMax).
Experience conducting keyword research and campaign structuring.
Experience writing and optimizing paid search ad copy.
Experience executing A/B testing for PPC campaigns.
Experience analyzing campaign performance using Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Experience collaborating with marketing, SEO, content, analytics, and design teams.
SKILLS
Strong understanding of Google Ads campaign management.

Expertise in keyword research and search intent optimization.
