NeoWork is currently hiring a Media Buyer to join our team on a full-time contractor basis, supporting an AI-powered media and creative services client in the US.
This is a hands-on execution role. You will own campaign management across Meta, Google, and TikTok for e-commerce accounts, make day-to-day optimization decisions under general strategic direction, and work alongside client leadership and engineering as they build AI tooling around the media function. The client uses custom attribution frameworks and non-standard measurement approaches, so comfort with incrementality and first-party data is essential. You will also be expected to document your workflows clearly enough that processes can eventually be handed off or automated.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST Engagement: Full-time, 40 hours per week
What You Will Do
Execute paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok, including campaign setup, audience configuration, and ongoing management for e-commerce clients
Manage budgets and make day-to-day optimization decisions under general strategic direction from client leadership
Pause and adjust underperforming ads using platform data alongside the client's custom data sets
Analyze performance against incremental and first-party attribution frameworks, not platform-reported numbers
Document workflows and SOPs in enough detail that they can be handed off and progressively automated
Collaborate with client leadership and engineering on AI tooling being built around the media buying function
Requirements
3 or more years of direct, hands-on experience running paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok — execution experience, not just strategic oversight
Strong analytical skills outside of standard platform measurement, including comfort with custom data sets and incrementality-based signals
Proven ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where direction can shift quickly
A habit of picking up new tools and methodologies rather than defaulting to the same playbook
Openness to experimenting with AI tools and integrating them into your daily workflow
Strong documentation habits, you can describe what you do clearly enough for someone else, or a system, to replicate it
Excellent written English, given that collaboration is primarily async
Nice to Have
Background at a startup or performance-focused media agency
Direct experience managing paid media for e-commerce or DTC brands
Familiarity with incrementality testing or geo-holdout methodology
How Performance Is Measured
Maintain a blended ROAS at or above 3x across Meta, Google, and TikTok, with platform-specific targets of 2.5x or higher on prospecting and 6x or higher on retargeting, measured against incremental and first-party attribution
Stay within 5% of planned daily and monthly spend across all active campaigns, with proactive flagging before overpacing occurs
Keep e-commerce CPA at or below 30 on Meta and 25 on TikTok during the first 90 days, with a 10 to 15% improvement target quarter over quarter as campaigns mature
Deliver structured weekly async updates covering performance, budget status, and recommended changes — proactively, before leadership has to ask
