About this Role.

  1. Position Overview  Job Title: Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BBR)  Target Audience: Companies offering maintenance, service, or protection plans for security systems.  Primary Objective: To conduct outbound cold/warm calling to businesses, identify key decision makers, and book qualified meetings/demos for our sales team.  Employment Type: Full-time  Location: Remote
  2. Core Responsibilities  High-Volume Outbound Calling: Conduct cold and warm phone outreach to targeted B2B prospects daily.  Lead Qualification: Navigate gatekeepers to reach key decision-makers (e.g., Operations Managers, Service Directors, Owners) within the security system service industry.  Value Proposition Delivery: Clearly articulate how our SaaS platform helps them streamline, manage, and scale their security maintenance/service plan operations.  Meeting Generation: Successfully book high-quality meetings/product demonstrations with qualified prospects.  Data Management: Meticulously log all call activity, notes, and meeting schedules in HubSpot.
  3. Mandatory Candidate Requirements Communication & Language  Native English Speaker: Must possess native-level English fluency with clear, professional, and unaccented speech suitable for corporate B2B calling in the target market (e.g., US/UK/Canada).  Exceptional Verbal Skills: Ability to build instant rapport over the phone, handle objections smoothly, and maintain a professional, persuasive demeanor.

Experience & Education  B2B Cold Calling Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in B2B outbound phone sales, cold calling, or telemarketing. (Experience in SaaS or the security/field-service industry is a major plus).  Education: A completed Bachelor’s Degree (College Degree) is strictly required. Technical Skills  CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HubSpot (navigating contacts, logging calls, setting tasks).  Productivity Software: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data sorting, filtering, tracking) and Microsoft Word (reporting, script reading/editing). Personality & Motivation  High Motivation to Succeed: Highly self-motivated, resilient, and driven by targets.  Results-Oriented: A competitive mindset with a strong desire to consistently hit and exceed booking quotas.  Thick-Skinned: Ability to handle rejection positively and maintain high energy throughout the day. 4. Performance Metrics (KPIs) & Definition of Success Success in this role is not measured by the number of dials made, but by the tangible outcomes achieved. KPIs include:  Primary Metric: Booked & Attended Meetings: Successfully scheduling meetings with the right decision-makers at meaningful, qualified businesses and organizations (e.g., companies that actively sell/manage security maintenance plans and meet our ideal customer profile size).  Pipeline Contribution: The percentage of booked meetings that successfully move forward into active sales opportunities.  Data Accuracy: 100% accurate and timely data entry within HubSpot.
