MidLevel Developer React Native

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a MidLevel Developer React Native based in Brazil.

Join a multidisciplinary engineering team working on a customer-facing financial application already operating in production across major app stores.
This role offers significant autonomy in technical refinement, feature development, and continuous improvement of the mobile platform.
You will work across React Native and native Android/iOS development , contributing to a modern and scalable mobile experience.
The position combines hands-on development with code quality, automated testing, architecture, and Continuous Delivery practices.
You will collaborate closely with the wider engineering team to refine technical solutions and improve development efficiency.

Accountabilities:

• Develop new features and technical mechanisms across React Native and native mobile platforms, including Android and iOS.
• Propose and implement improvements and optimizations across the customer's mobile platform.
• Maintain high delivery quality through code reviews, static analysis tools, and automated testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the technical refinement and detailed design of solutions.
• Take ownership of Continuous Delivery, promoting technical discussions and identifying opportunities for squad and platform evolution.
• Apply engineering practices focused on results, efficiency, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to solve technical challenges and deliver reliable mobile experiences.
• Contribute to the evolution of mature applications, including native modules, third-party SDK integrations, and mobile platform improvements when required.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience and practical expertise with React Native.
• Hands-on experience with native mobile development using Android/Kotlin and/or iOS/Objective-C/Swift.
• Ability to work comfortably between React Native and native Android/iOS codebases.
• Experience with state management architectures in React Native, such as Context API, Zustand, or equivalent solutions.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs, including error handling and interceptors.
• Practical experience with automated testing using Jest as part of the development workflow.
• Strong understanding of software engineering, code quality, modularization, and maintainable application architecture.
• Ability to work effectively in production environments and adapt to challenging or unexpected scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to engineering.
• Experience maintaining mature React Native applications in production, integrating custom native modules, and working with third-party SDKs is a plus.
• Knowledge of React Navigation and deep linking is advantageous.
• Experience with design system evolution or migration in React Native, including technologies such as styled-components, Tailwind/NativeWind, or gluestack-ui, is desirable.
• Experience in financial or banking applications and mobile security practices such as certificate pinning, root/jailbreak detection, or reverse-engineering protection is a plus.
• Familiarity with mobile analytics, crash reporting, observability, or CRM platforms such as Firebase, Datadog, or Insider is beneficial.
• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD, including GitHub Actions or equivalent tools, and OTA update technologies such as CodePush or similar solutions, is advantageous.
