Mid-Level Fullstack Developer (.NET / Next.JS)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Level Fullstack Developer (.NET / Next.JS) based in Brazil.

Join a team developing and enhancing an education platform that helps professionals access, understand, and use data related to programs and accreditation. In this mid-level fullstack role, you will focus primarily on backend development with C# and .NET while contributing to modern frontend applications built with Next.js, React, and TypeScript. You'll work within a monorepo environment, building reliable services, integrating APIs, and connecting reporting and analytics solutions. Collaborate directly with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. You'll also contribute to code quality through testing, peer reviews, and adherence to established architecture and development standards. Accountabilities

• Build, maintain, and improve backend services using C#, ASP.NET Core with .NET 8, and Entity Framework Core.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, following established project patterns and architectural standards.

• Contribute to frontend development using Next.js 14, React 18, and TypeScript.

• Integrate reporting and analytics services to support platform functionality and data-driven insights.

• Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

• Learn, apply, and help maintain the project's coding standards, architecture, and development practices.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability, functionality, and maintainability.

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvements in code quality.

• Work within an Agile team, delivering complete, tested, and maintainable features on a regular basis.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development with C# and .NET.

• Proven experience building, integrating, and maintaining RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core or similar object-relational mapping tools.

• Experience working with relational databases such as Azure SQL or Microsoft SQL Server.

• Understanding of dependency injection, SOLID principles, and layered software architecture.

• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js, with a willingness to contribute across the full stack.

• Familiarity with Git and software testing practices, including unit and integration testing.

• Ability to navigate, understand, and contribute to large and complex codebases.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with advanced English proficiency to work effectively with international clients and teams.

• Nice to have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure SQL.

  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB.

  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools such as Application Insights and Serilog.

  • Experience with monorepo tools such as Turborepo or npm workspaces.

  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as shadcn/ui or Radix UI.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of authentication standards and technologies, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and MSAL.
