As a Paid Social Media Buyer & Creative Strategist, you will own the full paid social engine for a fast-growing e-commerce/custom merch company - from campaign strategy and day-to-day execution across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, to sourcing UGC creators and translating performance data into actionable creative briefs. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who has built and scaled paid media programs from the ground up, not just managed an existing playbook.
You will work closely with the Senior Media Buyer and report directly to the leadership team. Your core value is the ability to close the loop between what the data says and what the creative team needs to produce next - making you the critical link between performance insights and creative output.
Responsibilities
Build and execute paid social strategy across Meta (primary), TikTok, and LinkedIn in collaboration with the Senior Media Buyer
Manage and optimize day-to-day campaigns across all paid social channels, including budget pacing and bid management
Scale paid social budgets from current levels (70–80K/month) toward company growth targets (200–300K/month range)
Analyze campaign performance daily — tracking KPIs including CPA, CPC, ROAS, and CTR — and translate findings into actionable insights
Develop and deliver creative briefs to the design and video production teams based on platform performance data and creative learnings
Source UGC creators through platforms such as Social Cat to support creative pipeline and campaign variety
Handle initial creator intake and coordination (product shipping managed by a separate team)
Report performance and creative learnings back to the Senior Buyer and leadership, explaining the "why" behind results — not just the "what"
Identify underperforming creative early, iterate quickly, and recommend new creative angles backed by data
Stay current on platform changes, new ad formats, and audience optimization strategies across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, with a proven track record of actively scaling paid social programs (not just executing against an existing playbook)
Advanced proficiency in Meta Ads Manager — you know the optimization levers inside out and do not need a learning curve
Demonstrated ability to scale ad budgets significantly (e.g., from 20K to 80K+/month or equivalent growth trajectory)
Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with campaign data, KPIs, and performance dashboards to draw actionable conclusions
Experience translating performance data into creative strategy — writing briefs, identifying creative gaps, and guiding production teams
Fluent English (C1 or above) — written and spoken; you will write ad copy for English-speaking audiences and collaborate daily with a US-based leadership team
Proactive, self-directed work style — brings recommendations and improvements without waiting to be told
Availability to work 9 AM – 5 PM Central Time (CT)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Social Cat or similar creator sourcing platforms for UGC campaigns
Background in e-commerce, DTC, or consumer/merch products
Working knowledge of TikTok Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads
Familiarity with GA4 or other web analytics tools
Prior experience coordinating with design and video production teams
