Local SEO Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Local SEO Specialist. The Local SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving our clients’ visibility in local search results, driving qualified traffic, and increasing conversions through proven local SEO strategies.

Daily responsibilities include optimizing Google Business Profiles, managing local citations, conducting local keyword research, implementing on-page and technical SEO improvements, and monitoring performance through analytics tools.

The Local SEO Specialist will also collaborate with content, outreach, and web development teams to ensure cohesive and effective local search strategies. Additionally, participation in client calls may be required to align SEO efforts with business goals and provide performance insights.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field
• Strong understanding of local SEO ranking factors and Google Business Profile optimization
• Experience with citation building, NAP consistency, and local directory management
• Proficiency in using SEO tools
• Knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO basics, and local schema markup
• Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and meeting deadlines in a remote environment
• Familiarity with content optimization and local link-building strategies
• Background in digital marketing or SEO with a focus on local search

Working hours:

• 8 hours per day, Monday–Friday. A minimum of 7 working hours must be within the 9 AM–5 PM EST.
