Job Overview
As a member of the Enterprise Risk and Compliance (ERC) team, the Third-Party Junior Analyst plays a key role in supporting Mitratech's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of vendor, contractor, and partner data across the organization. This role supports Mitratech’s expanding Third-Party Governance Program across contractors, vendors, partners, and resellers, helping ensure operational consistency, audit readiness, and scalable governance processes as the program continues to mature.
This role also offers meaningful opportunities to contribute beyond core data functions. The Third-Party Junior Analyst will support compliance training coordination — including logistics, tracking, and communications — while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and drive process improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented professionals who are eager to grow their expertise in risk management and make a measurable impact on organizational compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Third-Party Maintenance (Contractors, Vendors, and Partners)
Coordinate and manage end-to-end intake of third-party requests, ensuring accurate data entry, proper routing through governance workflows, and completeness of records across tracking systems.
Maintain and audit third-party risk assessment records, flagging outdated, incomplete, or inconsistent data for timely resolution.
Support annual and ad hoc vendor risk audits, providing documentation and escalating discrepancies or workflow gaps to senior team members.
Process Improvement & Program Operations
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline third-party intake, request management, and data maintenance, supporting implementation efforts where appropriate. processes, and drive or contribute to implementation.
Monitor workflow adoption and escalation trends to surface recurring gaps and inefficiencies, translating findings into actionable improvement recommendations.
Support executive reporting on program operations, risk trends, and maturity metrics to enable data-driven decision-making.
Compliance Training & Risk Management
Maintain accurate training records across compliance programs, monitoring completion data to identify gaps and ensure timely resolution.
Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for compliance tracking inquiries, helping teams navigate training requirements and reporting processes.
Requirements & Skills:
0-2 years of experience in data entry, data management, or administrative support.
0-2 years of experience in third-party risk, vendor management, procurement operations, compliance, audit, or business analysis; experience in a corporate or legal environment is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting dashboards.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and follow up effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Experience with data tracking or vendor management systems is a plus.
