We are currently seeking a **Junior Accountant** to join one of our U.S. clients. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and closing activities. The Junior Accountant will work closely with Senior Accountants and the Finance team to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting standards. ### **Responsibilities**
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements (monthly and quarterly) in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
* Support the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets tracking.
* Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
* Perform basic variance analysis and support financial reporting activities.
* Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
* Help maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation is in place.
* Support tax compliance activities, including data preparation for filings and payments.
* Collaborate with Finance team members to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Participate in accounting and finance projects such as system improvements, process documentation, or internal control support.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
**Requirements**

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit (entry‑level roles accepted).
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Strong willingness to learn and develop technical accounting skills.
* Experience in fast‑growing or multinational environments is a plus.
* Exposure to revenue recognition concepts (e.g., ASC 606)
**Technical & Professional Skills**
* Basic knowledge of IFRS/GAAP principles.
* Familiarity with accounting systems or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct) is a plus.
* Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
* Good organizational and time‑management skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently on assigned tasks.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
