INVESTMENT ANALYST Full-Time | Remote ABOUT THE COMPANY We are a premium, sell-side advisory firm specializing in the valuation, positioning, and strategic sale of music rights catalogs. The company works with artists, songwriters, producers, publishers, and rights holders globally, helping them maximize the value of their intellectual property through private, curated transactions. About the Role We are seeking an Investment Analyst to support financial analysis, catalog valuation, and transaction execution across music rights portfolios. This role will work closely with the advisory team to evaluate music catalog investments, analyze financial performance, build valuation models, and support the preparation of materials used in strategic transactions involving intellectual property assets. The ideal candidate has experience in investment analysis, private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance, and is comfortable working with financial models, asset valuation, and transaction processes. Key Responsibilities Investment & Valuation Analysis - Analyze financial performance and revenue streams across music catalogs - Build financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and transactions - Conduct valuation analysis using cash flow modeling, forecasting, and comps - Assess risk, revenue sustainability, and long-term catalog performance Deal & Transaction Support - Prepare investment memorandums and transaction summaries - Support materials for investor and buyer discussions - Conduct due diligence and review financial documentation - Analyze bids, offers, and deal structures Market & Industry Research - Research music catalog transactions and market trends - Analyze comparable deals and valuation benchmarks - Track developments in the music rights investment landscape Financial Modeling & Reporting - Maintain and update valuation and revenue projection models - Consolidate financial data across multiple sources - Prepare internal investment reports and presentations REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field - 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance - Strong financial modeling and Excel skills - Experience evaluating investments or financial assets - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Nice to Have - Experience in media, entertainment, music rights, or intellectual property valuation - Familiarity with royalty-based revenue models or asset-backed investments - Experience supporting M&A, advisory, or investment transactions Skills - Financial modeling and valuation - Investment analysis - Market and deal research - Financial forecasting - Strategic thinking and analytical reasoning - Strong attention to detail At The Global Talent Co., our mission is to bridge the gap between leading global tech companies and amazing global talent.
