### Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and people-focused HR Onboarding Specialist to manage and improve the new hire onboarding experience. This person will be responsible for coordinating preboarding and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee transition into the company, and using Deel to support hiring, contract management, compliance, and international onboarding workflows.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to create a seamless and welcoming employee experience.
### Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance through first-day readiness
* Use Deel to manage onboarding workflows, contracts, compliance documents, and global hiring processes
* Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and People teams to ensure all onboarding steps are completed on time
* Prepare and collect employment documentation, agreements, and required compliance forms
* Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date in HR systems
* Schedule onboarding sessions, orientation meetings, and training as needed
* Act as a main point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process
* Support international employee and contractor onboarding through Deel.
* Track onboarding progress and follow up on pending tasks or missing documentation
* Help improve onboarding processes, templates, and internal documentation
* Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor requirements

* 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, onboarding, or employee lifecycle support
* Hands-on experience using Deel
* Strong understanding of onboarding processes and HR documentation
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes at once
* Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with HR systems, Google Workspace, and communication tools such as Slack
### Preferred Qualifications
* Experience onboarding international employees or contractors
* Familiarity with remote-first or distributed team environments
* Knowledge of HR compliance and employment documentation across multiple regions
* Experience with payroll, benefits coordination, or broader People Ops processes
