Job Title: HR Onboarding Specialist Location: Remote- LATAM Schedule: Full time | Monday - Friday. 9AM - 5PM PST Compensation: $2000 - $3000 USD Monthly. ( Negotiable based on experience and seniority) Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Onboarding Manager ### Job Summary We are looking for an organized and people-focused HR Onboarding Specialist to manage and improve the new hire onboarding experience. This person will be responsible for coordinating preboarding and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee transition into the company, and using Deel to support hiring, contract management, compliance, and international onboarding workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to create a seamless and welcoming employee experience. ### Key Responsibilities * Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance through first-day readiness * Use Deel to manage onboarding workflows, contracts, compliance documents, and global hiring processes * Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and People teams to ensure all onboarding steps are completed on time * Prepare and collect employment documentation, agreements, and required compliance forms * Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date in HR systems * Schedule onboarding sessions, orientation meetings, and training as needed * Act as a main point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process * Support international employee and contractor onboarding through Deel. * Track onboarding progress and follow up on pending tasks or missing documentation * Help improve onboarding processes, templates, and internal documentation * Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor requirements ### Key Skills * Deel platform management * Employee onboarding * HR operations * Documentation and compliance * Cross-functional coordination * Communication and stakeholder management * Process improvement * Confidential data handling ### Success Metrics * Smooth and timely onboarding completion for all new hires * High new hire satisfaction during the onboarding experience * Accurate and compliant documentation completion * Reduced delays in onboarding timelines * Strong coordination between HR, hiring managers, and support teams * 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, onboarding, or employee lifecycle support * Hands-on experience using Deel * Strong understanding of onboarding processes and HR documentation * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes at once * Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency with HR systems, Google Workspace, and communication tools such as Slack ### Preferred Qualifications * Experience onboarding international employees or contractors * Familiarity with remote-first or distributed team environments * Knowledge of HR compliance and employment documentation across multiple regions * Experience with payroll, benefits coordination, or broader People Ops processes * **Remote Work:** Work from anywhere—our team is global, and we value work-life balance. * **Growth Opportunities:** As a key player i you’ll have the chance to shape your role and grow with us. * **Innovative Culture:** Join a team that is passionate about leveraging data to solve challenges and drive success in a rapidly evolving market. *As part of our recruitment process, all candidates will be kindly asked to agree to* [*Lago’s Confidentiality and Non-Circumvention Agreement*](https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vT9d3IW-QW-lGpt7ZIU22uqvADQUVESDzQPAopkpb1Tzf6OVERy198VBtGBpnpKXw/pub)*.
