As a Senior Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust software solutions that support complex business needs. You will work across backend services, microservices, APIs, and frontend applications, helping build scalable and reliable systems using modern technologies. The role combines hands-on Java engineering with integration work, containerized deployments, and data-streaming capabilities. You will also work with legacy applications, ensuring they remain maintainable while supporting ongoing modernization efforts. In a collaborative, technology-driven environment, you will help uphold high standards of code quality, system performance, and long-term maintainability. Accountabilities

• Java Development: Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and other JVM-based technologies.

• Backend Engineering: Build and operate backend services, microservices, and APIs using frameworks and technologies such as Spring Boot and Node.js.

• Frontend Development: Develop and maintain Angular components, integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, and support effective communication between frontend and backend systems.

• Legacy System Maintenance: Work with existing applications built using technologies such as Struts, Servlets, JSP, and PrimeFaces, supporting their stability, maintenance, and evolution.

• API Integration: Implement and maintain service integrations to enable reliable data exchange across application components and systems.

• Containerization and Deployment: Work with Docker and Kubernetes-based environments to support application packaging, deployment, and operation.

• Data Streaming: Develop and support solutions involving Kafka and event-streaming technologies.

• Application Server Support: Work with enterprise application servers such as WebSphere and JBoss.

• Database Management: Work with SQL Server and database-related components to support application functionality and data access.

• Code Quality and Best Practices: Apply sound software engineering principles to produce readable, testable, maintainable, and reliable code.

• Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, improve existing solutions, and deliver effective software aligned with business requirements.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• Professional Experience: Solid experience in software engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Java and/or other JVM-based languages.

• Java and Backend Technologies: Experience developing and operating applications using Java, microservices, APIs, and Spring Boot; familiarity with Node.js is also relevant.

• Legacy Technologies: Experience working with established enterprise applications built with Struts, Servlets, JSP, and PrimeFaces.

• Angular Development: Experience creating and maintaining Angular components, consuming REST APIs, and integrating frontend applications with backend services.

• Frontend Fundamentals: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, applying established frontend development practices.

• Containers and Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including platforms such as AKS, EKS, GKE, or OpenShift.

• Event Streaming: Practical experience with Kafka and data-streaming solutions.

• Application Servers: Familiarity with WebSphere and/or JBoss.

• Databases: Experience working with SQL Server.

• Software Quality: Strong commitment to code quality, readability, testability, maintainability, and sound engineering practices.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to investigate technical issues, work across interconnected systems, and contribute to reliable, scalable solutions.

• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a technology-focused environment.
