About this Role.

Our client is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing consulting team delivering modern data platforms and analytics solutions for multinational clients.

This is a highly hands-on role with strong technical ownership, combining architecture, implementation, client-facing consulting, and technical leadership.

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver end-to-end data solutions for enterprise clients.

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical architectures.

  • Build and maintain modern Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and analytical data models.

  • Develop robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and data serving.

  • Drive technical quality through best practices, documentation, testing, and version control.

  • Act as the technical point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.

  • Mentor and support other Data Engineers.

  • Participate in technical estimations, solution design, and project planning.

  • Continuously improve engineering standards and delivery processes.

Required experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, or similar.

  • Strong experience with:

    • SQL
    • PySpark
    • Data Modeling
  • Hands-on experience implementing cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

  • Experience designing and building production-grade data solutions.

  • Advanced English (spoken and written).

  • Comfortable working directly with clients and multiple stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated technical leadership without requiring formal people management responsibilities.

  • Strong ownership, autonomy, and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

Experience with modern Microsoft data technologies, including:

  • Microsoft Fabric

  • Lakehouse architecture

  • Notebooks

  • Power BI

  • Synapse

  • Dataflows

Additional experience with:

  • Databricks

  • Snowflake

  • Parquet and modern columnar storage formats

Working model

  • Full-time (Monday–Friday)

  • Hybrid work model from Uruguay / Fully remote from Argentina
