Data Engineer

At Ryz Labs we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our clients' teams, a growing technology team building data products for the music and entertainment industry. You will work with large-scale datasets and help design reliable data infrastructure that turns complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/data pipelines processing millions of records daily.

• Design scalable data ingestion systems integrating streaming platforms, social media, and other data sources.

• Architect and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure.

• Develop production-ready Python applications and complex PostgreSQL queries.

• Work with technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, Spark, and Airflow.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and other teams to transform raw data into useful business insights.

• Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of existing data systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and maintaining production data systems.

• Strong experience with Python and PostgreSQL.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, ClickHouse, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, and AWS.

• Experience designing high-throughput, fault-tolerant data pipelines.

• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and distributed systems.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with music or entertainment industry data.

• Experience with streaming APIs or social media data.

• Experience working with large-scale consumer data platforms.
