Position: Senior Data Analyst **Location:** Remote **Schedule:** Target 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST); Subject to change based on operational needs. **Salary:** TBD **Contract Type:** Independent Contractor Agreement ### About Us We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Data Analyst** to join our team. This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and communication skills to support warehouse management system reporting and data infrastructure across various departments. You will play a critical role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions. ### Key Responsibilities **Reporting & Dashboard Development** * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, support, and maintain customized reports and dashboards. * Design and maintain user-friendly reporting front-ends using **Power BI**, **Excel**, or equivalent tools for senior management. * Continuously evaluate and improve existing reporting systems to optimize performance and usability. * Lead dashboard development and KPI tracking to identify business trends. **Data Management & Infrastructure** * Maintain data integrity across platforms such as **SQL databases**, **Excel**, **Power BI**, and **VeraCore WMS** systems. * Work closely with IT to gather and interpret internal data needs. * Manage multiple data sources and oversee ETL processes and data modeling. * Handle **API integration** and consolidate data from multiple systems. **Process & Collaboration** * Document new and existing processes to ensure transparency and repeatability. * Participate in cross-functional project meetings and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. * Perform root cause analysis and reporting automation to streamline operations. ### Requirements **Required** * **3+ years of experience** in a data analyst role, or an Associate degree in a relevant field. * Proficient in **SQL** (data extraction, joins, aggregations, and optimization). * Advanced knowledge of **Microsoft Excel**, including Power Query and pivot tables. * Professional experience with **Power BI**, including DAX and data modeling. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. **Preferred** * Experience with **logistics**, **warehouse management systems (WMS)**, or supply chain environments. * Basic understanding of scripting or automation tools such as **Python**, **Power Automate**, or **VBA**. * Knowledge of data governance, quality standards, and compliance practices. * Familiarity with **ERP systems** and their integration with reporting tools. * Experience with data visualization best practices and storytelling through data. ### Personal Qualities * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. * Ability to interpret and present data clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders. * Dedicated to continuous improvement and process documentation. ### Benefits * 100% remote work. * 40 hours per week. * Vacation benefits after 1 consecutive year with us! * Experience working with international clients. * Improvement in your English skills. * Development plans. * Training with tools and team support.
