About this Role.

Hi there!

We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join one of our U.S. clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to ensure high standards of data quality and validation while executing procedures aimed at improving our overall data handling and management. The role also involves managing helpdesk inquiries and Quick Responses. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, organized problem solver with a background in Finance, strong analytical skills, and experience monitoring and analyzing large volumes of data to uphold quality standards.

This is an exciting opportunity where the candidate will be a part of a fast-paced organization and have a direct impact on the company’s data and product offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a data analyst capacity and learn from senior members of the team

  • Filter and “clean” pricing and reference data by reviewing internal reports

  • Assist with normalizing, cleaning, enriching and mapping data to help maintain company’s reference database

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify issues and recommend appropriate methods to resolve data integrity concerns

  • Identify patterns and outliers in large data sets to help continuously improve our product offerings

  • Produce data-driven data samples and reports for our clients

  • Liaise with internal groups to refresh and test data and platform features matters as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, sciences, business, information management, computer science, industrial engineering, or equivalent

  • 2-5 years of experience in a business/office environment

  • Ability to analyze large datasets

  • Strong administrative, organizational, written and verbal skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to multi-task and perform with sense of urgency when required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working in financial technology firms

  • Exposure to Fixed Income markets, ideally with Structured Products

  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, and PowerBI is desirable
