About The Job The Risk Team is CloudWalk's last line of defense. We're who protect millions of merchants and users from fraud, financial crime, and bad actors, while making sure legitimate business flows without friction. What You'll Be Doing: • Hunt fraud at scale • Build and own detection logic: rules, models, automated monitors, and alert systems • Dig deep into transaction data to find patterns nobody else noticed — then turn that into a decision, a process, or a new control • Work alongside engineers to ship real-time risk solutions that actually land in production • Interface with legal, compliance, and customer support teams when investigations get complex • Leverage AI tools as a force multiplier What You Need To Succeed: • Strong SQL — not "I've seen it", but "I can write it in my sleep under pressure" • Programming chops (Python is your friend here) • Analytical mindset with a bias for conclusions over hypotheses • The ability to make a call with imperfect information and own it • Fluent Portuguese + solid English (we read a lot of docs in both) • Curiosity that doesn't turn off at 6pm
