Creative Developer

Description Future Works is searching for a talented Creative Developer with a track record of building groundbreaking consumer products. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate on exciting projects for top-tier brands, working alongside world-class designers. - Experience with 3D Rendering Technologies: - Proficiency in Three.js/WebGLor WebGPU for 3D viewer development. - Demonstrated ability to implement GPU instancing for 3D objects - Knowledge of rendering optimization techniques such as Level of Detail (LOD) and view frustum/occlusion culling. - Familiarity with production-level rendering pipelines, including physics-based or PBR shaders, HDRI skyboxes, and dynamic shading overlays. - Front-end Development Skills: - Knowledge of Angular framework for embedding 3D viewers and developing UI components. - Ability to create minimal UI panels for displaying dynamic metrics (e.g., toggles, time-of-day controls). - Experience with accessibility and UI polish, including camera controls, presets, keyboard navigation, and scale/unit adjustments. - Implementation of preloaders, progressive instantiation, and error handling for large datasets. - Performance Optimization and Testing: - Skills in measuring and reporting performance metrics such as FPS, frame-time, and memory usage. - Experience in iterating on implementations to meet defined performance targets. - Ability to conduct performance and regression testing. - API Integration: - Experience integrating with backend APIs to fetch authoritative data. - Capability to implement client-side fallback approximations for interactive previews when API access is delayed or for real-time interaction. - Documentation and Communication: - Ability to create and maintain prototype repositories with clear READMEs. - Proficiency in developing developer and operator documentation, including deployment notes and configuration flags. - What we offer: - Fully remote work environment. - Freelance opportunity with flexible hours and time zones. - Company retreats and team-building activities. - Commitment to carbon offsetting and sustainability initiatives.
