Job Title: Commercial Construction Estimator
Job Type: Full-time, Remote
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard U.S. Pacific Time business hours (California Time)
Salary: 1,500 – 2,500 USD per month (salary based on assessment)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client's growing team and support their preconstruction and bidding efforts. This role is ideal for someone with dedicated estimating experience who can independently prepare accurate takeoffs, cost estimates, and competitive proposals for a variety of construction projects.
You will work directly within the client's established systems and workflows, supporting the estimating pipeline and ensuring high-quality, timely bid submissions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects.
Develop competitive bids and client proposals.
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine project scope and pricing requirements.
Analyze labor, material, subcontractor, and equipment costs.
Identify potential risks, exclusions, and scope gaps during the estimating process.
Maintain accuracy and consistency across all estimates and bid submissions.
Work within the client's existing systems and workflows to support project delivery.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding project requirements and bid strategies.
Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
Support the company's overall preconstruction and business development efforts.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of dedicated construction estimating experience.
Civil Engineering degree or equivalent construction-related background preferred.
Experience estimating U.S.-based construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Full-time availability (40 hours per week) and willingness to work exclusively with the client.
Comfortable working during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with framing, drywall, interior build-outs, wall systems, or related commercial construction scopes.
Experience using PlanHub or similar bidding platforms.
Familiarity with U.S. licensing requirements and bid compliance processes.
Experience working with projects of varying sizes and complexity levels.
Previous experience supporting U.S.-based contractors remotely.
