Collections Specialist (Spanish & English) - Remote

We are known for providing high-caliber, white-glove representation to clients facing criminal charges throughout Texas. Our practice handles cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony and capital matters, combining elite legal advocacy with exceptional client service.

We are currently seeking a bilingual Legal Collections Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals based in Mexico who are fluent in English and native-level Spanish speakers, with strong communication and client service skills.

As a Legal Collections Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's billing and collections efforts while also providing administrative support to attorneys and legal staff. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with clients in both English and Spanish, highly organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication

• Contact clients by phone, email, and text regarding outstanding balances.

• Discuss payment options and assist clients with resolving account issues.

• Provide exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish.

Administrative Support

• Assist attorneys and legal staff with scheduling, document preparation, file management, correspondence, and maintaining organized records.

Account Management

• Maintain accurate client account records.

• Monitor overdue balances and ensure timely follow-up.

• Document all collection activities and account updates.

Bilingual Client Support

• Serve as a professional point of contact for both English- and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear communication and a positive client experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Collections Representative required. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

• Native-level Spanish fluency and exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with professionalism.

• Must have your own laptop or PC, a high-quality headset, reliable high-speed internet, and a backup internet connection.

• Must be available to work night shifts and overtime as needed.
