KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Regulatory Architecture: Design, implement, and lead the overarching compliance strategy, ensuring Partyhat remains ahead of global regulatory shifts. - Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and neutralize potential legal or operational bottlenecks across multiple jurisdictions before they impact the ecosystem. - Internal Governance: Establish and enforce rigorous internal protocols and audit trails using Ashby and Linear to maintain a data-driven view of our compliance health. - Stakeholder Advocacy: Act as the primary liaison with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies, representing Partyhat’s interests with authority and transparency. - Product Integration: Work directly with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure that compliance is "built-in," not "bolted-on," to our technical roadmap. - Global Monitoring: Oversee a 24/7 compliance monitoring system that tracks transaction integrity, user verification, and operational transparency across all time zones. THE REQUIREMENTS - The "Strategist": You are a battle-tested compliance leader. You know how to manage complex global frameworks and keep a high-growth organization secure. - Analytical Rigor: An innate ability to dissect complex legal language and translate it into actionable operational requirements for a technical team. - Hyper-Availability: This isn’t a 9-to-5. You must be available 7 days a week to handle real-time regulatory inquiries and manage the "always-on" nature of a global Web3 platform. - Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of blockchain analytics tools, automated KYC/AML systems, and the data-driven nature of modern compliance. - Web3 Literacy: You live on-chain. You understand decentralized protocols, smart contract implications, and the unique regulatory challenges of digital assets. - Operational Excellence: Self-motivated and highly organized; you can manage a massive global compliance machine without losing track of a single detail.
