About this Role.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for Chemistry Master's and PhDs: Paid Expert Contributions based in Brazil.

Put your advanced chemistry expertise to work by contributing to a specialized research initiative focused on improving technical knowledge bases and scientific understanding. In this remote, contract-based opportunity, you will evaluate complex chemical concepts, analyze scientific data, and provide expert feedback across a range of chemistry-related applications. Your contributions will help strengthen the quality, accuracy, and depth of technical information used in advanced research and AI-related projects. Working asynchronously, you can complete tasks aligned with your specific scientific background and areas of specialization. This opportunity is ideal for qualified scientists who enjoy analytical problem-solving, scientific writing, and applying rigorous research methods to complex technical questions. With flexible participation and task-based compensation, you can make meaningful use of your expertise while working remotely.

Accountabilities

  • Review and evaluate advanced chemical concepts, specialized scientific information, and complex datasets to assess their technical accuracy and relevance.
  • Answer detailed scientific questions within your chemistry specialization, applying established principles, research methods, and domain-specific knowledge.
  • Prepare clear, thorough written analyses and scientific feedback on technical concepts, chemical data, and research-related tasks.
  • Explain analytical approaches and provide step-by-step reasoning to demonstrate how domain-specific chemistry problems are investigated and resolved.
  • Interpret and assess scientific literature, technical documentation, and specialized chemical information to support evidence-based evaluations.
  • Apply critical thinking and scientific judgment to identify inconsistencies, assess the validity of technical claims, and improve the quality of scientific outputs.
  • Contribute to ongoing remote research tasks on an asynchronous basis, focusing on assignments that align with your qualifications and scientific expertise.
  • Maintain high standards of scientific accuracy, clarity, and precision when communicating complex chemical concepts to technical audiences.

Requirements

  • A master's degree or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline is required.
  • Relevant expertise in one or more chemistry-related fields, including organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, materials science, or related specializations.
  • Current or previous professional experience in a highly technical research, laboratory, scientific, or comparable role.
  • Strong understanding of advanced chemical principles, research methodologies, and the practical or theoretical applications of chemistry.
  • Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly, accurately, and systematically.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to evaluate complex datasets, investigate technical questions, and justify scientific conclusions.
  • Familiarity with specialized scientific literature, research publications, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and deliver accurate, well-structured responses in an asynchronous remote environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to scientific rigor, evidence-based analysis, and high-quality written contributions.
