Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Virtual Dental Receptionist to support the front-office operations of a growing dental practice. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional patient service, managing appointments, coordinating patient care, verifying dental insurance, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has previous dental office experience, and is proficient in Dentrix Ascend. Key Responsibilities

Patient Communication & Front Desk Support

• Answer inbound patient calls professionally in both English and Spanish.

• Respond to patient inquiries with empathy and excellent customer service.

• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and office staff.

• Deliver a positive patient experience throughout every interaction.

Appointment Scheduling & Patient Coordination

• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage patient appointments.

• Coordinate patient care and communicate treatment information.

• Follow up with patients regarding upcoming appointments and treatment plans.

• Optimize provider schedules to maximize office efficiency.

Insurance Verification & Financial Coordination

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.

• Explain treatment estimates and patient financial responsibilities.

• Maintain accurate insurance information and documentation.

• Coordinate with the dental team regarding insurance-related matters.

Medical Records & Administrative Support

• Register new patients and complete patient intake.

• Update and maintain accurate patient records within Dentrix Ascend.

• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

• Perform general administrative and front-office duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental front-office, dental receptionist, or dental administrative role.

• Hands-on experience using Dentrix Ascend (required).

• Experience with dental scheduling, patient coordination, and insurance verification.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong customer service, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a high-volume dental practice.

• Familiarity with treatment planning and patient financial discussions.

• Experience coordinating with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
