This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst based in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, acting as a key connector to ensure corporate systems are stable, evolving, and aligned with business needs. You will be responsible for supporting and improving both internally developed applications and market solutions, ensuring performance, availability, and reliability across critical platforms. The position combines hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic analysis, requiring you to translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions. You will work closely with users, vendors, and technical teams to manage the full lifecycle of IT demands, from discovery to deployment. This is a highly collaborative environment where you will contribute to system improvements, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives. You will also play an important role in ensuring governance, documentation quality, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Accountabilities:You will act as the main bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that systems meet operational needs while continuously improving performance, usability, and reliability. Your work will span support, analysis, development oversight, and coordination of IT initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

• Administer and support web-based internal systems and third-party solutions, ensuring stability, performance, and availability

• Provide technical support for users, including incident triage, diagnosis, and resolution of medium-complexity issues

• Use web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and SQL databases to investigate issues and implement corrections when needed

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, translating them into functional specifications

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT demands, from requirements definition through testing, validation, and deployment

• Coordinate with vendors and external partners, ensuring SLA compliance and delivery quality

• Conduct technical and functional feasibility assessments for new initiatives and system enhancements

• Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance with governance standards

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, data, and security teams to ensure best practices and system integrity

• Support user training and adoption of new systems and functionalities

Requirements:

This role requires a strong combination of analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and business understanding, particularly in systems analysis and software support environments. You should be comfortable working across technical stacks while engaging directly with business stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields

• Postgraduate studies in Software Engineering or related areas are a plus

• Strong knowledge of Python, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and exception handling

• Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI

• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL, as well as exposure to NoSQL databases

• Experience with data manipulation and automation tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Scrapy, or Selenium

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Git/GitHub and Docker containerization

• Experience participating in requirements analysis, system validation, and project delivery in collaboration with technical teams or consultants

• Knowledge of testing practices, including unit and integration testing

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to balance technical depth with business-oriented thinking
