This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analista BI Sr - Segmento de Tecnologia based in Brazil.

This is a senior analytics role focused on building and evolving robust Power BI solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the business. You will design and maintain high-performance dashboards, semantic models, and analytical layers with strong governance and scalability. The role demands advanced expertise in DAX, dimensional modeling, and modern BI architecture best practices. You will also contribute to migrations from Azure Analysis Services to Power BI Premium/Fabric environments. Beyond development, you will ensure data security through RLS and maintain full lifecycle management of BI assets. This is a consultative position, working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful analytical solutions. You will also support strategic initiatives such as pre-sales, proofs of concept, and solution demonstrations.

Accountabilities:Responsible for delivering end-to-end BI solutions in Power BI, ensuring performance, scalability, and usability across dashboards, reports, and semantic models. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models with high performance and reliability

• Design tabular models using dimensional modeling, hierarchies, and advanced DAX measures

• Support and execute migrations from Azure Analysis Services to Power BI Premium/Fabric environments

• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions in a consultative and stakeholder-oriented approach

• Manage the full lifecycle of semantic models, including deployment, versioning, partitioning, monitoring, and workspace governance

• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) and object-level security policies

• Perform data transformations using Power Query (M) and SQL

• Optimize DAX measures and data models for large-scale performance efficiency

• Collaborate with data engineers and architects on gold/semantic layer design

• Document models, measures, and development standards to ensure best practices

• Support pre-sales activities through proofs of concept and technical demonstrations

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly experienced BI professional with strong technical depth in Power BI and related Microsoft data technologies. Key qualifications and skills include:

• Solid experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

• Advanced knowledge of DAX, including complex measures and performance optimization techniques

• Strong background in dimensional data modeling

• Experience with Power Query (M language) and SQL for data transformation

• Hands-on experience with Azure Analysis Services (deployment, model management, and partitioning)

• Experience managing workspaces, deployments, and versioning in Power BI Service

• Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) implementation

• Understanding of modern data architectures and semantic modeling concepts

Differentials:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake, OneLake, pipelines)

• Knowledge of tools such as Tabular Editor and Measure Killer

• Experience with CI/CD practices for Power BI (PBIP, automated deployment pipelines)

• Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or other Azure ecosystem tools

• Experience in migrations from AAS to Power BI Premium/Fabric

• Exposure to Direct Lake and Delta-based semantic models

• Strong communication and consultative mindset, with ability to interact with business and technical teams
