AI Software Developer (Internal Tools)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Software Developer (Internal Tools) based in Brazil.

This role focuses on building intelligent internal applications that replace manual processes and expensive third-party tools through fast, AI-assisted software development. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable internal systems that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enable teams to work more effectively. The position blends full-stack engineering with a strong product mindset, requiring you to quickly translate business needs into secure, production-ready tools. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to identify automation opportunities and deliver impactful solutions. Accountabilities:* Design, build, and maintain internal web applications that automate workflows, reduce operational costs, and replace legacy or third-party tools.

• Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions using AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.

• Identify opportunities for internal automation by evaluating existing systems, tools, and manual processes.

• Partner with stakeholders and leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-impact internal software products.

• Develop integrations with external SaaS platforms through REST APIs and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

• Maintain clean, secure, and well-documented code following best practices in version control and deployment.

• Define and track performance metrics such as adoption, uptime, delivery speed, and cost savings from internal tools.

• Continuously improve development workflows by adopting emerging AI tools and best practices in software engineering.

• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing to support long-term maintainability and scalability of internal systems.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a proven ability to deliver production-ready applications quickly.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and/or Python.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Replit, Claude Code, or similar platforms.

• Experience integrating applications with third-party APIs and SaaS platforms using REST architecture.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, iterative delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate build-versus-buy decisions based on business impact.

• Understanding of software security, data privacy, and application reliability principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with international, cross-functional teams.

• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker is a plus.

• Familiarity with enterprise tools like HubSpot, Microsoft 365, or similar ecosystems is an advantage.

• Exposure to replacing SaaS tools with custom-built internal solutions is highly desirable.
