AI Implementation Specialist (Automation & Client Solutions) | Part-time

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The AI Implementation Specialist will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered workflows and automation solutions for both internal operations and client environments. Working closely with leadership, this role will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions by implementing AI tools, systems integrations, and workflow automations that improve operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building automation solutions from the ground up, and staying at the forefront of emerging AI technologies.

LOCATION

Fully Remote | 8 AM - 12:00 PM ET | Part-time | 20 hours a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI IMPLEMENTATION & AUTOMATION

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows for internal operations and client projects.

• Develop automations using AI tools, APIs, and workflow automation platforms.

• Configure scalable automation ecosystems that connect multiple software platforms.

• Optimize existing workflows to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot automation failures and continuously improve deployed solutions.

TECHNICAL INTEGRATION

• Build integrations between CRMs, project management systems, communication platforms, databases, and AI services.

• Configure API connections, webhooks, and custom integrations when native connectors are unavailable.

• Implement secure automation architectures following best practices.

• Evaluate and recommend AI and automation tools based on client requirements.

CLIENT SOLUTIONS & TECHNICAL CONSULTING

• Meet directly with clients to understand their business processes and operational challenges.

• Lead discovery conversations with non-technical stakeholders.

• Translate business challenges into practical AI implementations.

• Recommend innovative automation strategies that align with client objectives and budgets.

AI RESEARCH & INNOVATION

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows using no-code and low-code automation platforms.

• Connect business systems through APIs, webhooks, and workflow automation tools.

• Implement practical AI solutions using LLMs and modern AI tools.

• Optimize existing workflows to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and improve deployed automations.

DOCUMENTATION & PROJECT DELIVERY

• Document workflows, automation architectures, and implementation procedures.

• Develop reusable templates and standardized implementation frameworks.

• Create internal best practices for AI deployments and client onboarding.

• Maintain technical documentation that supports long-term scalability.

• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.

• Communicate progress clearly with the founder and clients.

• Own projects from discovery through deployment with minimal supervision.

• Document workflows and implementation details for future maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience building automations, systems integrations, or AI-enabled solutions.

• Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and workflow automation platforms.

• Experience independently managing projects from discovery through implementation.

• Experience integrating multiple SaaS applications into automated workflows.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders or clients.

SKILLS

• Strong experience building AI-powered workflows using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, Claude, OpenAI, MCP frameworks, or similar technologies.

• Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and integrating multiple SaaS platforms into automated workflows.

• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and practical AI implementation beyond prompt engineering.

• Experience connecting CRM systems, cloud-based applications, databases, and business software through scalable automation solutions.

• Ability to document technical workflows, system architecture, and implementation procedures clearly and accurately.

• Knowledgeable in documentation platforms such as Notion, Obsidian, etc.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve automation issues.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple implementation projects while maintaining attention to detail.
