Challenge
We’re looking for an AI Developer Relations – DevX professional to act as the human-centered research engine behind a developer productivity transformation initiative.
In this role, you will investigate how engineers truly experience their workflows across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Responsibilities:
Conduct structured developer listening tours with engineers across multiple teams and seniority levels.
Investigate and map current developer workflows across the entire SDLC, including code review, testing, deployment, and tooling usage.
Identify friction points affecting developer productivity, collaboration, and delivery speed.
Translate qualitative insights from interviews into structured backlog items for engineering teams.
Establish baseline developer experience metrics and track improvements over time.
Use AI-assisted tools to analyze interview transcripts, identify patterns, and extract insights at scale.
Create workflow maps and friction heatmaps that visualize developer bottlenecks across teams and processes.
Deliver weekly friction trend reports and insights to leadership stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and AI transformation teams to prioritize improvements.
Maintain a living registry of developer experience insights and continuously update research findings.
